Users in the severely affected Marrakech region of Morocco will receive a series of airdrops from Binance worth up to $100 in BNB.

The significant earthquake that struck Morocco on September 8 left at least 2,000 people dead in Marrakech, the country’s fourth-largest city, and millions of dollars in BNB $212 have been pledged by cryptocurrency exchange Binance as assistance relief for those impacted.

Binance will airdrop up to $3 million in BNB to users who have been identified as residing in the impacted areas, according to a September 11 release.

According to the Richter scale, the earthquake had a magnitude of 7, which is considered major.”

The founder and CEO of Binance, Changpeng Zhao, expressed his sympathy for Morocco and described the earthquake as “devastating” for the people there.
