Hackers behind the $41 million stake theft shift between BNB and MATIC in their latest move: CertiK

The hacker behind the stake theft shift has now transferred a total of $4.8 million in money to Bitcoin and Avalanche.

According to blockchain security company CertiK, the hackers behind the $41 million attack on cryptocurrency casino Stake have moved an additional $328,000 million in Polygon MATIC $0.5122, $0.5135, and BNB (BNB) tokens as their most recent actions after the Sept. 4 vulnerability.

 

 

At 4:09 p.m. UTC on September 11, an external address “0x695” received 300 BNB coins worth $61,500, later bridged to Avalanche. Seven hours earlier, at 7:18 am UTC, someone transferred another 520,000 MATIC tokens worth approximately $266,000 to Avalanche.

Seasoned professionals with experience have been identified as the hackers behind the stake theft shift.
