Hackers behind the $41 million stake theft shift between BNB and MATIC in their latest move: CertiK

The hacker has now transferred a total of $4.8 million in money to Bitcoin and Avalanche.

 

According to blockchain security company CertiK, the hackers behind the $41 million attack on cryptocurrency casino Stake have moved an additional $328,000 million in Polygon MATIC $0.5122, $0.5135, and BNB (BNB) tokens as their most recent actions after the Sept. 4 vulnerability.

 

 

On September 11 at 4:09 p.m. UTC, 300 BNB coins worth about $61,500 were most recently transferred to the externally held address “0x695” and subsequently bridged to the Avalanche blockchain. Seven hours earlier, at 7:18 am UTC, another 520,000 MATIC tokens worth approximately $266,000 were also transferred to Avalanche.
